Dèpaysement.

Dèpaysement.
“I wake up crying in the middle night or maybe just before dawn, I can’t remember properly but what does that even matter. They make way during the sleep hours even.
I think its both a gift and a tragedy that humans can hide their emotions in such a meticulous way. That how we can never know that a person sitting right next to us, who might even seem perfectly normal is broken to the bones, categorically. How a person who seems happy just might be too immensely crestfallen that he/she sheds tears all night. Or how the pretty and fancy sleeves of their shirt are hiding skin embroidered with scars of self harm.
No, I think its a gift, not a tragedy.”
